Guys, get these books and you’ll never have to ask directions again.

After years of “solitary confinement” in a small upstairs room of their home in Victoria, Informap is now annually producing five topographic map books that will make sure you never get lost.

Two are a good resource for anyone on the road in the province. They are the B.C. Road & Recreational Atlas and the Southwestern B.C. Road & Recreational Atlas. They have also an Atlas devoted to Alberta and two for Ontario.

The premium quality books are just as engrossing for those of us who armchair travel, too.
With info on logging roads, trails, lakes, fishing spots, parks, campgrounds, wildlife viewing areas and, of course, the usual stuff you need when you travel the province, the books are an excellent supplement to the B.C. Escapes Guides vacation planner that the Tourism Ministry puts out (www.tourism.bc.ca).

See www.recreationalatlas.com for more on these best sellers or pick one up at any bookstore.
